Northglass is a one-person studio in Salt Lake. Every cup starts as a bottle someone else finished with.
I pick up amber, green, and clear bottles from restaurants along 900 South, melt them, and blow them into cups, bowls, and lamps. Nothing leaves the shop in a batch larger than twelve.
Drinking glasses, small bowls, and lamp shades. Each piece keeps a streak of the bottle's original color.
People who want a cup that remembers where it came from, and kitchens that would rather see their empties come back useful.
